Refund policy

Handmade items & handmade clothing: We have a NO return or exchange policy listed because all orders are "custom" and we do not stock shirts, they are hand designed, cut and pressed as they are ordered just for you! If there is a defect in the manufacturing of the shirt itself or a mistake in the design on our part we will GLADLY work with you to get a replacement to you.

Antique/Vintage items: Final sale items, no returns or exchanges. 

Paint/Decoupage/DIY items/ECT: Final sale items, no returns or exchanges.

Clothing Return Policy:

If the return meets all return criteria stated below, a store credit (Distressed Darlin E-Giftcard) will be issued. We do not issue refunds to the original form of payment.

Please send us a email letting us know that you will be sending a return. Thank you.

Returns must be delivered back to us within 30 calendar days from the date your order was delivered.
Returns received after 30 calendar days will be refused. You will be responsible for return shipping charges.
Refunds will be issued in the form of a store credit (Distressed Darlin E-Giftcard).
If the purchase was made on our website, the E-Giftcard will be issued to the website.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
We are not responsible for returned shipping costs, lost or stolen packages.
We do not provide return labels.
Returns must be in original, unworn condition with no stains, defects, pet hairs, smells, or any signs of wear or use. All original tags must be attached and all packing slips included in the return.

Shoe boxes must be shipped in a separate box or mailer, as they are considered part of the product's original condition. If a shoe box is damaged or taped, the return will be refused.

Cancellations:

Orders cannot be changed, modified, or canceled after checkout.

Exchanges:

We do not offer exchanges. An E-Giftcard will be issued once your return is processed. We recommend placing a new order for the item you wish to exchange. We cannot always guarantee the item/size you would like to exchange will be in stock.

INSTALLMENTS: AfterPay or Shop Pay

We offer full store credit for all eligible returns including items paid for with AfterPay or Shop Pay.
If a purchase was made using Shop Pay or AfterPay the customer is still responsible for paying the full balance even though the Distressed Darlin E-Giftcard has been issued for the return.


DEFECTIVE ITEM:

If you have received a defective item please contact our customer service team by email at thedistresseddarlin@gmail.com within 3 business days of delivery. Please include your first and last name, order number, items name, and photo of the defect in the email.
If you contact us outside of the 3 business day window the item does not qualify for replacement or return.

FAQ- How do I access my store credit?

An E-Giftcard is emailed to you once your return has been received and processed. On occasion a gift card may go to your Spam folder. If you need additional assistance finding your store credit please email thedistresseddarlin@gmail.com All gift cards are nonrefundable and do not expire.
